Raquel has been a remarkable Spanish teacher. Her patience and encouraging attitude make every class enjoyable (yes, even those overflowing with grammar!), and she has a wonderful way of including everyone, no matter their level. What I’ve appreciated most is her versatility — she often reads the mood or picks up on something that comes up in class and adjusts her approach on that day to great effect. I’ve also really enjoyed how she weaves in local culture and real-life context, which makes learning feel so much more grounded. Maria built up my vocabulary, comprehension and speaking skills, so much so that I feel far more confident conversing in Spanish.
