Intensive Spanish Courses

This Spanish course was designed for those who want to improve their Spanish level in a short period of time. In this course you will learn all the main aspects of Spanish: grammar, vocabulary, and culture Each one of these competences is taught through proper practice. Due to the small number of students per class, everyone will be able to actively participate in all activities that take place in the classroom, making learning more enjoyable and effective.

Our intensive Spanish courses in Valencia for foreigners are aimed at those students who want to improve their level of Spanish in a short time, practising askills like: speaking, writing and listening through enjoyable and fun exercises.

With our communicative and dynamic method of teaching, our students learn through exercises based on real communicative situations but oriented to the use of grammatical structures and specific vocabulary.

– WORKLOAD AND SCHEDULES

Monthy: 40 hours per month from 9:30 a.m. To 11:30 a.m or 11:30 p.m to 13:30 p.m
Weekly: 10 hours per week.

In addition to the teaching sessions, students may also participate in the socio-cultural modules offered weekly at the school.

– STUDENTS PER CLASS

A minimum of 4 student per class and a maximum of 10 with an average of 4-5 students per class.

– STARTING DATES

-Intensive monthly Spanish courses start on 5th of July and finish on 30th of July (4 weeks) –

– Intensive weekly Spanish course start every Monday of July.

On public holidays there will be no classes, but they will be recovered they will be taught some other time during the week. If two holidays take place in the same week, only one will be recovered.

4 weeks –> from 5th of July to 30th of July
1 week –> starts any Monday

Elementary: A2
Pre Intermediate Level: B1
Intermediate: B2
Advanced: C1
Master: C2

– ASSESSMENT TEST

Before the Spanish course starts, all students will take a small assessment test with one of the teachers in order for the school to know at which Spanish level the student is. After the exam is revised marked, the student will be assigned an appropriate course.

Spanish & Valencia is a small but tidy one instructor school centrally located for easy access in Valencia’s city center. Raquel Moreno, provides both private and group lessons. She offered a free first lesson so we could meet and she could assess my skill level. She is patient, encouraging, energetic and a good Spanish teacher. She makes good use of a white board to write down what is being taught and asks that you purchase a Spanish workbook for lessons. In one month I learned how to introduce myself, to talk about where I’m from and where I live now, to speak about why I wanted to move to Spain and why I wanted to learn Spanish so I have some conversational skills. She encouraged me to be bold and not be shy with people that I encounter, but to take advantage of every opportunity to practice my new found skills. On the second lesson she insisted I learn my phone number in Spanish which immediately became essential. The most useful line that has opened many doors for me is to say “Solo estoy aprendiendo a harbar español”. (I’m just learning to speak Spanish). The Spanish people really appreciate that you are making an effort to learn their language and once I said that, they quickly became supportive, encouraging and helpful. Raquel helped me improve my Spanish by a lot. She was able to quickly evaluate my level and explain her methodology. I took classes every day as I had a limited time in Valencia. She would wittingly engage me in a conversation that caused me to practice speaking for about half the (1 hour) class while she corrected my vocabulary and grammar before going on to the lesson for the day.
