Cancellation policy, Class booking and Payment methods

CANCELLATION POLICY

The student is responsible for class attendance. It is not the obligation of Spanish & Valencia to make up classes that the student cancels.

1- Individual Spanish classes

Classes must take place as agreed with the teacher before the start of classes, every Thursday for example. The monthly fee is calculated according to the number of classes per month (for example, 4 Thursdays are 4 classes) and is payable at the beginning of the month.

Student cancellation of the classes

When the cancellation of the class is made before twelve midday (12 p.m.) the previous day, the class may be recovered within the same month depending on the teacher’s availability. If the teacher is not available, the student loses the class.

In the case of it being the last class of the month which cannot be recovered in the same month according to the teacher’s availability, we will try to make an arrangement so that the student doesn’t lose the class, but we cannot guarantee that the class can be recovered.

If the student cancels the class after 12 p.m. the previous day, the class cannot be recovered.

In case of an unforeseen absence (because of illness, work, university, traffic, weather…) the affected student loses the class.

The recovery classes cannot be cancelled. If the student cancels the recovery class, it is lost.

In no case will an economic refund of the contracted or reserved classes be made.

Holidays

In case of holidays, an individual calculation can be requested according to the number of classes that will be taken during the affected month. The student must notify Spanish & Valencia and the teacher before the last day of the month previous to the holidays. There won’t be any changes allowed after the monthly fee has been calculated.

Teacher cancellation of the Spansih classes

In this case the class will be recovered. If you can’t or don’t want to recover the class for any reason, the class will be reimbursed in the next month’s fee.

2- Group Spanish classes

Classes must take place weekly as agreed with the teacher before the start of classes, every Thursday for example. The monthly fee is calculated according to the number of classes per month (4 Thursdays are 4 classes).

Student absence

In case of anticipated absence (trips, exams, doctors appointments…) of a student, the affected he or she can ask the group to move the class to another day. If the other students can’t, the affected student loses the class.
In case of unforeseen absence (illness, work, university, traffic, weather…) the affected student loses the class.

Holidays and long weekends

The group must agree on whether or not they want to receive classes during school holidays or long weekends. If a student can not come to class for vocational reasons, he or she can ask the group to move the class to another day. If the other students can’t, the affected student loses the class.

Teacher cancellation of the class

In this case the class is recovered. If it is not possible to recover the class, the total amount will be reimbursed.
