Sailing & Hiking in Spanish

At Spanish & Valencia, we offer you the chance to experience the Mediterranean and the surrounding nature while learning Spanish through our hiking routes and water sports activities.

Our hiking excursions take place on weekends and are led by one of our teachers, who will accompany you throughout the day while you practice Spanish. It’s a perfect opportunity to discover new places and fully immerse yourself in the language.

The water sports activities are carried out together with one of our Spanish teachers at a partner school, where you can enjoy the sea safely. If you already have experience, you can also participate independently and practice Spanish with one of our teachers. At our partner sailing school, we offer lessons in sailing, windsurfing, and paddle surfing. We also organize independent paddle-surf outings.

To complete your activity, we recommend enjoying a traditional Valencian paella at a local restaurant in Cabanyal, an iconic seaside neighborhood full of charm and surprises. You can also try the region’s typical cuisine in one of the small villages around the city after your hiking trip.

These activities are available only from March to November and are subject to weather conditions.

Raquel is a great teacher who we had twelve months of lessons with. She's been excellent with conversation practice and teaching me vocabulary not covered in the textbooks (tax, freelancing, childbirth). She's very friendly and knows exactly when to interject and correct your grammar when you're having a conversation. Her lessons are very interactive with listening exercises and online games.
