The Harry Potter universe is one of the most beloved ones and now you will have the opportunity of learning more about magic and learning Spanish at the same time. The official Harry Potter Exhibition is coming to Valencia from the 13th of April to the 7th of July and will hold numerous pieces of attrezzo, clothing and various objects that were used in the making of the 8 film saga.

Valencia will be the only Spanish city hosting the exhibition this year. It will be held in the Museo de las Ciencias, with an exhibition area of over 1500 square meters. Once in the exhibition, you’ll be able to visit iconic locations from the saga like the Gryffindor Common Room or the Potions Classroom. Visitors will also have the chance of being sorted into one of the houses and taking care of a Mandrake in an herbology class. A guide will take you through the exhibition and explain details from behind the scenes of the movies, this guide will be in Spanish so it’ll be a great opportunity to learn more Spanish while enjoying yourself.

The guided tours begin each half hour, so when buying the tickets you will have to choose a date and time. The normal ticket costs 16,90€, but for 20,90€ you can buy a ticket to the exhibition and one of the museums. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and children under 3 have free entrance. Pets and other animals won’t be allowed.

If after visiting the exhibition you want more Harry Potter related activities you can visit the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows escape room. In this escape room, you will have 90 minutes to complete two missions to defeat the dark wizard. This game has to be played in groups of 2 to 6 people and is quite difficult to solve, so you will need a good Spanish level to solve it.
