This placement test follows the competence levels of the Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes (CEFR A1–C2) and checks grammar, vocabulary, functions, pragmatics and reading. There are 6 parts of 5 questions, from easy to difficult. Click one answer for each question. If you do not know, choose “I don’t know” instead of guessing. Please do not use a dictionary or translator. Your level appears at the end, when you have answered all 30 questions.

This test gives an approximate level. It is not an official Instituto Cervantes or DELE exam.
